Chipping Norton, Cotswolds gateway town

Chipping Norton, Cotswolds gateway town

Chipping Norton is a normal small, Cotswold working market town. It is not picture book perfect, but is real, and has not been too much harmed by the attacks of modern times

The notable landmark is the Bliss Tweed Mill, an eye-catching Victorian building, set up to weave local wool. It has now been turned into apartments, but the outside remains as it always was.

The towns high street has a number of antique shops, not the expensive "ring to enter" type you find in the honeypot towns, more up market bric a brac!
